– 92% of our team managers started on the phones
Since establishing the business back in 2013, we have rapidly expanded in terms of new business wins and existing campaign growth, which has resulted in a consistent increase in our workforce. EC’s current headcount stands at 285 and we’re always looking to increase that number with the addition of fresh new talent. It’s no secret that there’s some fierce competition in the North East contact centre industry, which is why we’re working hard to reward our staff and help them to build a long and fulfilling career.
We understand the desire our employees have to progress and move forward in their career, and we’re committed to helping them to achieve this in any way possible. This is why we have established a Learning and Development Department and are implementing training programmes to support staff through the business.
Wherever possible we promote from within – evident in the fact that 92% our team managers started out as agents on the phone – so for those who want to progress we’ve created an Agent Development Programme to equip them with the fundamental skills needed to excel in the business.
Staff will attend a series of workshops over a three-month period that will help them develop their personal skills and evolve their own unique identity to potentially be our next Team Manager, Senior Advisor, Trainer, HR Executive, Recruitment Executive, Marketing and PR executive, IT assistant and any other roles that may arise.
Here at EC, we believe that by giving our staff the freedom to build their own personal brand, we can really bring out the best skills in each individual, which combined, produces to a cohesive working atmosphere and stringent operations processes. Our people are the reason why the business has been able to progress to where it is today, which is why we look after our staff.
