EC Outsourcing shortlisted for North East Contact Centre of the Year Award
Last Friday saw the 2017 North East Contact Centre of the Year Awards take place at Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham. The awards are an annual event that recognises the talented people responsible for the success of the North East’s contact centre industry.
EC Outsourcing were proud sponsors of the Sales Star category, as well as being a shortlisted nominee for the prestigious Contact Centre of the Year Award (Under 250 seats).
Although we didn’t win the award this time, given the infancy of EC, it was no small feat for us to have been shortlisted among 90 other business in the North East; Firstsource Solutions Middlesbrough, Customer Service Op – Northern Powergrid, Spark Response Contact Centre and Tesco Banking Assist Team Newcastle.
This was our first time entering the awards, and we were shortlisted after winning various new business contracts and creating jobs in the region over the last year.
EC has seen significant growth throughout 2017, having secured four new campaigns with some major brands in the Gaming energy and telco markets. These contract wins have created more than 30 new jobs in the region and contributed to the company’s 41 per cent increase in head count since January 2017.
We continue to thrive as we move into new areas of business, with the aim of growing at the speed we did last year. As keen advocates of the contact centre industry and loyal supporters of our region, we can’t wait to be involved in next year’s North East Contact Centre Awards!
