Job Title: Chat Host
Salary: £8 p/h
Hours of Work: Various shift patterns between 8am – 1am, Mon – Sun
Location: Boldon, South Tyneside

As a Chat Room Host you will be an entertainer, providing a memorable, first-class experience for all of our valued players. We will depend on you to make our sites a fun and exciting place to be! Your fun and engaging conversation will both inform and educate, injecting life into our Chat rooms. The best Entertainers are enthusiastic, sociable and easy-to-talk-to people!

You will carry out one of the most energetic roles within the team, creating the spark that gets our members motivated to have a great time on site. Entertainers are the first point of contact welcoming players, running quizzes and games, dealing with player questions; whilst at the same time creating a sense of community within our audiences.

Ultimately you will be the voice and frontline service for one of the UK’s biggest bingo brands and will be responsible for delivering an exceptional service level that not only meets the customer’s needs but exceeds them wherever possible.

The shift rota is between 8am – 1am


£8.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

· Act as first point of contact for Members providing them with first class entertainment and customer service experience.

· Personally deliver a frontline service to Members that (as a minimum) meets their expectations whilst also resolving queries/questions/enquiries at first point of contact wherever possible, and in line with business objectives and targets.

· Bring fun, entertainment and humour to the chat rooms whilst being professional and delivering a best in class service to Members.

· Continually evaluate chat to ensure positive, engaging and professional conversations with members and newcomers to the site.

· Run promotions, quizzes and chat games in line with promotional schedules, business objectives and targets.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience – Essential:

· Experience of working in a high-pressure environment

· Evidence of multi-tasking capability

· Excellent customer service handling skills

· Excellent Chat skills

· Flair for entertaining

· Excellent written communication skills and good English skills

· Good interpersonal skills

· Good PC skills

· Fast and accurate typing

· Good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point)


Knowledge, Skills and Experience – Desired:

·Experience within online gambling industry

·Experience of Chat hosting

·Knowledge of the brands products and processes
