Massive congratulations are in order as one of our longest standing employees, Rachel Ludkin, has recently been promoted to HR and Recruitment Support Assistant.

 

Rachel has been with the company since day one, working on a variety of campaigns spanning a six year period with EC. Keen to progress within the business and explore other streams of work, Rachel decided HR was the right career choice to pursue.

As well as a loyal employee of EC, Rachel has also taken on additional duties, such as EC Health Advocate and Agent Representative, alongside her Sales Advisor role.

Rachel said: “I’ve worked at EC for six years across various energy campaigns and absolutely love the culture here. Although I enjoyed my job as sales advisor, I’ve always wanted to explore other areas of the business and move up in my career.

“A keen interest in people is what attracted me to the role initially. I love helping people and making a change, whether its in a work or personal capacity. This is why I took up opportunities that arose for colleague support positions – to help my peers.”

Rachel will support the HR Administration Officer and the Recruitment Executive in the day to day running of the HR function. Calling and screening potential new candidates, helping with the admin of new employees, and any other associated HR tasks.

Rachel adds, “I love the level of opportunity there is at EC, and the support that is offered to really start a long-term career. A call centre job doesn’t have to just be a stop-gap, and EC is proof.”

This is a thoroughly well deserved promotion for Rachel, and we’d like to wish her the very best in her role for the future.
