THE CHALLENGE

EC formed our partnership with ESB back in October 2018. ESB approached EC with a need to establish a UK-based sales team to represent the brand.

The challenge EC faced was to establish ESB as leading energy provider in a big market and build a strong customer base.

ESB, also known as Electric Ireland in the EIRE, are the current market leader in the Republic of Ireland and sought the expertise of EC to claim their place in the UK market. EC were the first outsourcing company to work with the Irish energy giant and are now their leading partner in outbound sales.

OUR SOLUTION

EC combined experienced agents with a robust and comprehensive sales training and development programme, derived from years of sales and acquisition experience.

The campaign started with a team of nine outbound sales agents, who consistently exceeded targets and over-performed. Due to this rapid success, the team has now risen to 40 agents at the client’s request and we’re still not at capacity.
